Spring Covid Vaccination Programme Update

The NHS covid vaccination programme continues this spring. Merrow Park Surgery will be administering these vaccines on behalf of its patients.

Eligibility Criteria for the Spring Booster

The eligibility criteria for the Spring 2026 booster are as follows:

• Patients aged 75 and over.
• Immunosuppressed patients aged 6 months and over, as defined in the Covid-19: the green book, chapter 14a.
• Patients residing in a Care Home

How to Book a Vaccine Appointment

Merrow Park Surgery will be contacting all patients eligible via a text message with a link to book your appointment from the 20th March 2026. We will have clinics offered during Saturdays 18th &  25th April 2026. 

Home Visits for Housebound/Care Home Patients

Patients who are registered as housebound  or in a Care Home with their practice will be contacted by our team via telephone, and home visits will be arranged with the Nursing team between the 20th and 21st April 2026.
