Covid & Flu Vaccinations - Winter 2024

 Our Flu and Covid Clinics are being held at Merrow Park Surgery from 1st October 2024. If you are eligible for a COVID vaccination, you will be able to receive this at the same time.

You can get the free NHS flu vaccine if you:

·         are aged 65 or over

·         Children aged 2 or 3 on August 31, 2024

·         have certain long-term health conditions

·         are pregnant

·         live in a care home

·         are the main carer for an older or disabled person, or receive a carer's allowance

·         live with someone who has a weakened immune system

You can get the free NHS COVID vaccine if you:

·         aged 65 years and over.

·         Residents in a care home for older adults.

·         persons aged 6 months to 64 years in a clinical risk group.

Housebound patients will be contacted, the programme will be starting in October.

We want to assure you that all eligible patients will receive an invitation for their vaccine. These are being sent week commencing Monday 9th September 2024. A separate link will also be sent for those patients wishing to receive only a Flu vaccination on Friday 13th September 2024.

We appreciate your patience as we work through the process of sending out these invitations. Alternatively, if you are eligible you can contact the surgery directy and the patient services team can book this in for you.
